Hassan: In a significant move ahead of the upcoming Karnataka elections, the Congress party has unveiled its initial list of candidates, encompassing seven key constituencies across the state. Among the notable names featured in the list is Shreyas Patel, a youth leader hailing from Hassan.  

Shreyas Patel’s candidature marks a strategic inclusion in the Congress roster, reflecting the party’s emphasis on representing diverse demographics and fostering emerging leadership. Hailing from the Okkaliga community, Shreyas Patel brings a fresh perspective and formidable energy to the political arena. 

His nomination carries added significance given the shifting dynamics within the political landscape, particularly in Hassan constituency. Notably, Shreyas Patel’s foray into electoral politics isn’t new. Having contested previously from the Holenarseepur constituency in Hassan, he demonstrated tenacity and resilience, narrowing the victory margin  of just  3176 of his opponent, JDS candidate HD Revanna, in a fiercely contested battle.
