Dist Cong party leaders, workers celebrate 3-state win

Shivamogga: The election results are out and the Congress party, having made its way into Bharatiya Janata Party bastions Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh, was celebrated by the district Congress party workers, here on Tuesday, December 11.

The Congress workers also had another reason to rejoice-their party ending the 15 years long BJP rule in Madhya Pradesh.

The celebrations were held near the District Congress Office on the Raghavendra Swamy Matt road and the city’s bus stand. The party workers burst firecrackers and distributed sweets.

Former MLA K B Prasanna Kumar, President of District Congress T N Srinivas and other party leaders participated in the celebrations.
