No permission was given to hold funeral procession: DC Dr Selvamani

Shivamogga: The District Administration had not given permission to carry out funeral procession of slained Bajrang Dal Activist Hindu Harsha, said Deputy Commissioner Dr. Selvamani.

He was addressing mediapersons on Tuesday February 22. The District Administration has taken all the precautionary measures. I clarify that we had not given any permission to hold funeral procession of Harsha, he informed.

Except two incidents wherein two autorickshaws and two motorbikes were torched, no untoward incidents has occurred in the City, Selvamani added.
