Shivamogga: City Police has arrested three persons out of four here on Wednesday October 26 in connection with the murder case of private hospital Accounts Manager.
The accused have been identified as Zubi (23), who has 11 cases of robbery dacoity, attempt to murder, ganja case etc., Darshan (21) has 7 cases of robbery dacoity etc., and Karthik alias Katte Karthik (21), who has 3 earlier cases.
Police said one more person is to be arrested and will share the details soon.
As per the sources murder happened due robbery. They have stolen the gold chain of victim and have stabbed him to death. Wednesday morning while Jabi was taken to recover the murder weapon near canal behind Harsha Fern Hospital where he had hid the weapon. He took the weapon used for the murder and tried to attack Police Staff Roshan who was escorting the accused.
After the assault attempt, though our staff escaped the attack but was injured. In retaliation to protect our staff and himself, Harish Patel, Kumsi Police Inspector fired on the leg of accused Jabi.
Roshan has been admitted to hospital and is being treated now. A case will be booked regarding this offence.
