Shivamogga: A patient was found hanging at a reputed mentally ill hospital in the City. A case has been registered at Doddapete Police Station.
Srinivas of Singana Bidari Village in Theerthahalli Taluk of the District, who was mentally unstable for the past 20 years, was admitted to the hospital a week ago. When those who were with his brother went out to get breakfast, Srinivas went upstairs and died by suicide by hanging himself.
Srinivas, who was admitted to the hospital on Monday January 29, went to an empty room in the hospital and hanged himself.
