Shivamogga: Police shot a rowdysheeter in the leg early in the morning of Monday December 19.
The police shot rowdy-sheeter Praveen alias Motu in the leg. Praveen had tried to attack the policemen when they were on their way to arrest him in a case. He had tried to attack the Rural Police Crime Officer Shivaraj.
Despite being warned by Shivamogga Rural Police Station PSI Ramesh, Motu Praveen ignored him and PSI Ramesh fired at Motu Praveen’s leg to protect his staff. Praveen and the police personnel who were shot at have been admitted to McGANN Teaching District Hospital.
