Shivamogga: Former Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa on Friday November 18 denied the Congress party’s allegations that the BJP Government had misused electoral data as baseless. He said that it is a conspiracy by the opposition party.
He said that since Congress is making these allegations out of fear about losing the upcoming Assembly election, there is no need to take them seriously.
Speaking to mediapersons, he said, “The Congress party lacks leadership, and as a result, they have started to make baseless allegations. One shouldn’t take them seriously. No such misuse has happened.”
He claimed that Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai had said that if there was a violation, an inquiry would’ve been initiated. He also asked that the Congress provide all the proofs.
“Congress should not make such allegations. Without a doubt, we will return to power. Nobody can stop it,” said Yediyurappa.
