Shivamogga: A youth who had gone for a swim at Abbi Falls in Yadur Village near Theerrthahalli of the District died on Wednesday January 3.
The deceased has been identified as Rishabh (20), son of the owner of Sabari Hotel in Theerthahalli Town.
Rishabh, who was studying Diploma at Sahyadri Polytechnic in Yadehalli, had gone for a swim to Abbi Falls with his two friends after completing his examination on the morning of Wednesday morning. The body, which was trapped between the rocks, was fished out after a search operation.
A case has been registered at the City Police Station.
