Mandya police made six additional arrests on Monday in connection with a female foeticide and sex determination racket, bringing the total number of arrests to 36. The authorities seized two scanning machines and two cars from the suspects.
Superintendent of Police Mallikarjuna Baladandi reported that seven special teams were formed to investigate and dismantle the network. Efforts are underway to apprehend all individuals involved and terminate the illegal operations.
