Absconding Accused Mohammed Sadiq Arrested After Three Years On The Run

Kankanady police have successfully apprehended Mohammed Sadiq (35), a resident of Manjanady Kalkatta, who had been evading authorities for the past three years. Sadiq, who was wanted in connection with three warrants from Konaje police station and one from Ullal, had consistently failed to appear for court hearings over this period. Due to his persistent absconding, the court issued an additional warrant for his immediate arrest.

Acting on a reliable tip-off, Kankanady police traced Sadiq to Kasargod, where he was finally arrested. Following his capture, he was promptly sent to judicial custody. The operation was led by Kankanady City Police Station Inspector T. D. Nagaraj, with the assistance of ASI Venkatesh and personnel Gangadhar and Shivanand.

The successful arrest brings a significant breakthrough in the efforts to bring Sadiq to justice, highlighting the diligence and coordination of the Kankanady police team. Authorities continue to urge the public to provide any information that may assist in apprehending individuals who evade legal proceedings.
