On Wednesday, May 22, Chief Electoral Officer of Karnataka state, Manoj Kumar Meena, conducted an inspection at the votes counting center located at St. Cicily’s Educational Institute in Brahmagiri.
During the inspection, the electoral officer meticulously examined the strong room, CCTV monitoring center, and police security arrangements at various checkpoints. He also scrutinized other security measures in place.
Mr. Meena emphasized the need for CCTVs to be installed, ensuring that every two vote counting tables and the entire premises are under surveillance.
Accompanying him were IGP Boralingaiah, SP Dr. Arun K, additional DC Mamatha Devi G S, and other officials who were present to facilitate the inspection and discuss preparations for the upcoming vote counting process.
