In response to the adverse weather conditions, the department of animal husbandry is also preparing to set up relief centres for pets and domestic animals. Specific attention has been directed towards vulnerable areas such as Panjimogaru Ward No. 12, where four families were relocated following assessments highlighting landslide risks.

Furthermore, due to the submersion of the submersible bridge linking Devasya to Chelyadka in Puttur taluk, heavy vehicles have been prohibited from using the route until further notice. Alternate routes via Puttur, Aryapu, Sampya, Santiyar, and Bettampady main roads have been advised for vehicles traveling towards Panaje. District Commissioner Mullai Muhilan MP issued the directive to ensure public safety amidst the challenging monsoon conditions.
