Mangaluru: In a bizarre incident, a man was spotted lying unconscious in the middle of a busy road—right in the path of an approaching city bus.
The shocking moment was captured on the vehicle’s onboard CCTV, which later confirmed the man was in a highly inebriated state. The bus, operating on its regular route, was just seconds away from a potentially fatal accident when the driver noticed the figure sprawled across the road.
Thanks to the driver’s quick reflexes and sharp observation, he managed to apply the brakes just in time, bringing the vehicle to a halt inches away from the man. Passengers were alarmed, but no injuries were reported.
Eyewitnesses and transport officials suspect the individual had consumed excessive alcohol before collapsing on the road. Fortunately, the incident ended without loss of life, due to the professionalism of the bus operator.
