Belthangady, June 29: Tragedy struck in Nada village as Jayaraj (50), an assistant accountant at the village accountant’s office, lost his life in a tragic road accident on Friday morning. The incident occurred at Putrabailu, Layila, when Jayaraj, a resident of Balanja, was commuting from Belthangady to Nada on his motorbike.
According to reports, a private bus traveling from Killur to Belthangady collided head-on with Jayaraj’s bike, causing severe injuries to him. Despite immediate efforts to rush him to the hospital, Jayaraj succumbed to his injuries on the way.
The Belthangady Police have registered a case and conducted an inspection at the accident site to gather evidence and understand the circumstances leading to the collision. The tragic incident has left the local community in shock, particularly his colleagues and acquaintances at the village accountant’s office in Nada.
