Mangaluru: Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College (FMHMC), Deralakatte, has once again demonstrated academic excellence by securing 6 out of the top 10 ranks in the Undergraduate (BHMS) examinations conducted by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Karnataka. The examinations were held from September 2019 to July 2023, highlighting the consistent hard work, dedication, and academic brilliance of the students.

Outstanding performance by undergraduate students

The BHMS 2018 batch students showcased exceptional performance, securing:

  • 6 out of the top 10 ranks in the BHMS examinations.
  • 22 course-wise ranks and
  • 112 subject-wise ranks,
    taking the college’s total rank tally to an impressive 140 ranks.

Gold medal for highest overall marks

Among the achievers, Dr Anagha K G was awarded the Gold Medal for securing the highest overall marks across all four years of the BHMS course. Her exemplary performance serves as a benchmark of excellence for fellow students.

Postgraduate students shine with 11 ranks

The MD (Hom) 2020 batch also made the institution proud by securing 11 ranks across five specialities in the MD (Hom) examinations conducted by RGUHS in October 2022 and March 2024.

Dr Riya Susan George earned the Gold Medal for scoring the highest marks in MD Homoeopathy (Organon of Medicine with Homoeopathic Philosophy), further adding to the institution’s legacy of academic brilliance.
