Mangaluru: Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital will organise EVIDENCIA 2026, a workshop focused on multicentric homoeopathic research and evidence-based practice, on June 14 at the A.V. Hall, Knowledge Centre, Father Muller Charitable Institutions, Kankanady.

The workshop forms part of the institution’s Ruby Jubilee celebrations marking 40 years of service in homoeopathic medical education, patient care, and research. It also builds upon the Ruby Jubilee Multicentric Research Initiative launched during the Dr M. L. Dhawale Memorial Oration.

Promoting evidence-based homoeopathic research

The programme is being organised in association with the Indian Homoeopathic Medical Association (IHMA) and the Father Muller Research Centre (FMRC).

The primary objective of EVIDENCIA 2026 is to equip private homoeopathic practitioners with the knowledge and skills required to participate actively in research and systematically document their clinical experiences.

Organisers said the initiative seeks to encourage collaborative multicentric studies that can generate quality scientific evidence and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of homoeopathic research.

Experts to guide practitioners

The workshop will be inaugurated by Dr. Sanjeeva Rai, former Dean of Father Muller Medical College and the first Chief of Research at Father Muller Research Centre, who will attend as the chief guest.

Rev. Fr. Faustine Lucas Lobo, Director of Father Muller Charitable Institutions, will preside over the programme.

The workshop will feature sessions by distinguished resource persons, including Dr. Shivashankar, Principal of Father Muller College of Allied Health Sciences; Dr. Sudheer Prabhu, Professor and Head of the Department of Community Medicine; and Dr. Skandan S. Kumar, Associate Professor at Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College.

Focus on research methodology and publication

Participants will receive practical training in research methodology, study design, data collection, statistical analysis, and scientific publication.

The workshop aims to help practitioners transform valuable clinical observations into structured research outcomes that can contribute to scientific literature and strengthen evidence-based homoeopathic practice.

Through the Ruby Jubilee Multicentric Research Initiative, Father Muller hopes to foster a stronger culture of research and collaboration within the homoeopathic profession.

Invitation to AYUSH practitioners and researchers

Organisers have extended an invitation to AYUSH practitioners, researchers, academicians, and other stakeholders interested in advancing scientific research in homoeopathy.

The institution noted that EVIDENCIA 2026 reflects its continued commitment to strengthening research, encouraging innovation, and promoting evidence-based approaches in homoeopathic healthcare.

The workshop is expected to bring together practitioners and researchers from different regions, creating opportunities for collaboration and knowledge sharing in the field of homoeopathic medicine.
