It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Fr. Valerian Mendonca (75), the rector of Milagres Cathedral, Kallianpur, on July 3, 2024. Fr. Mendonca was a beloved figure in the community, known for his dedication and compassion.
The funeral service to honor his life and legacy will be held at Milagres Cathedral, Kallianpur on Monday, July 8 at 3:30 pm. Prior to the service, his mortal remains will be brought to Milagres Cathedral at 12:00 noon for public viewing until 3:15 pm, allowing friends, parishioners, and well-wishers to pay their final respects.
Fr. Valerian Mendonca’s passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who knew him. His commitment to spiritual guidance and community service will be remembered fondly by all.
