Mangaluru: The Mangaluru Press Club has announced the recipients of its 2024 Honorary Awards, recognizing the outstanding contributions of five senior journalists.
The awardees are:
- Muhammad Arif Padubidri (Vijaya Karnataka)
- Jitendra Kundeshwar (Vishwavani)
- Bhaskar Rai Katte (Suddi Budike)
- Raghuram Nayak (Hosadigantha)
- Satish Ira, press photographer (Udayavani).
Each award includes a cash prize of ₹10,000, a plaque, and a memento.
The awards will be presented during the Mangaluru Press Club Day celebrations on January 26, 2025, at 10 AM at “Palemar Garden,” near Morgans Gate in Mangaluru. The announcement was made by Ibrahim Adkasthala, General Secretary of the Mangaluru Press Club, via a press release.
