12 Arrested After Clash Between Two Groups In Bengaluru's Siddapura

Mangaluru: The police have apprehended five more accused in connection with the stabbing of two BJP workers near the Boliyar Mosque. This incident happened on June 9 during a BJP celebration.

The latest individuals arrested on Wednesday are Tajuddin alias Sadiq, Sarvan, Mubarak, Ashraf, and Tallath. These arrests are part of an ongoing investigation of the case registered at Konaje Police Station.

Earlier, six individuals had already been arrested in connection with the case. They are Md. Shakir ,28 , Abdul Razak, 40, Aboobakar Siddique,35, Sawad, 18, Monu alias Hafeez, 24 ,Aboobakar

This brings the total number of arrests in this case to eleven. The incident was reportedly triggered by provocative slogans during a BJP celebration near the Boliyar Mosque, leading to a confrontation between two community groups. The situation escalated, resulting in the stabbing of two BJP workers, who are currently receiving treatment at a local hospital.
