Mangaluru: Rakshith Shawn Mathias, 33, a young member of the Mangaluru community, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2026.
Rakshith was the son of the late Rudolph Mathias and Sharlet Mathias and brother of Reshma Mathias D’Souza.
His untimely death at the age of 33 has brought grief to his family, relatives and friends. The passing of a young life has left those close to him mourning the loss and remembering the years shared with him.
Viewing and funeral Mass
The viewing will be held at the family residence at 10.30 am on Sunday, August 9.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11.30 am at St Francis Xavier Church, Bejai, Mangaluru.
Family members, relatives, friends and well-wishers will gather to offer prayers and pay their final respects to Rakshith.
