As we look around at Mount Carmel Central School, we witness some of the most treasured moments as our students channel their boundless energy into various athletic events and team games. The passion and determination of our students to excel at both state and national levels inspired the management to allocate a spacious playground for the school. Although initially uneven and dotted with income-generating trees, this initiative was enthusiastically supported by parents, who partnered with the management and staff to provide better facilities, nurturing the students’ aspirations of achieving the impossible in sports.
This project, which began as a bold vision, has already reached a significant milestone, thanks to the financial contributions of our parents and staff. However, to continue progressing, we need further support and collaboration from sports enthusiasts and well-wishers. The ‘MCCS Festember 2K24’ invites our parents and the public to join in this collective effort through a vibrant Food Fiesta, Fun and Lucky Games, competitions and an Entertainment Extravaganza featuring Dance, DJ, live Music band and performances by various celebrities and artists on Saturday, November 9th from 3:00 PM to 8.30 PM, and on Sunday, November 10th from 11:00 AM to 9 PM.
Organized by the school’s Parent Teacher Association, ‘Festember 2K24’ is a fund raiser being exclusively aimed at enhancing the sports facilities at MCCS. We earnestly appeal to everyone to join us in this noble cause, which promises not only two days full of fun and entertainment, while making a contribution to a meaningful project. Every moment and every effort will serve the greater purpose of supporting this worthwhile initiative.
We firmly believe that the combined efforts of the school management, parents and staff towards establishing well-equipped sports facilities will one day bear fruit, helping us nurture future international athletes who will bring honour to both the institution and the country, fulfilling the dreams of our students for a brighter future.
