Eddie Sequeira, a distinguished artist, award-winning Konkani playwright, actor, director, and compere, is set to release his new book, Nav-Rang, on August 31, 2024, at 6:00 PM at the Sahodhaya Hall, St. Aloysius College. Nav-Rang is a collection of Sequeira’s well-known plays and his engaging talks on Konkani dramas, which have captivated audiences over the years.
The book will be officially released by Rev. Dr. Praveen Martis SJ, Vice Chancellor of St. Aloysius (Deemed to be University), in the presence of notable guests, including Mr. Stephen Pinto, Advisor to the Michael D’Souza Trust, and Mr. H. M. Pernal, Editor of Kittall.com. Published by St. Aloysius Prakashan, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Vidya Vinuta D’Souza, the book received a grant from the Michael D’Souza-Vision Konkani Programme, affiliated with the World Konkani Centre, Mangalore.
During the event, Eddie Sequeira will provide insights into his journey as an actor and playwright and will read and perform excerpts from some of the plays included in the book. Joining him on stage will be Mrs. Zeena D’Souza, a talented stage actor.
