No School Holiday Tomorrow in Dakshina Kannada, Classes as Usual

Puttur: Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner  Mullai Muhilan announced today that all educational institutions in the district will return to regular schedules starting tomorrow. This decision comes after a brief closure due to severe weather conditions.

Speaking to reporters, the DC in Puttur said, “A red alert was issued for today, prompting the closure of schools and colleges as a precautionary measure. The alert level has been downgraded to yellow for tomorrow, indicating an improvement in weather conditions. With the yellow alert in place, meteorological experts predict significantly reduced rainfall. Given these improved forecasts, all educational institutions are instructed to resume normal operations tomorrow,” he said.
