L N Kudooru, former president of Campco and a revered figure in Vitlakasaba village, passed away on June 30 at a private hospital in Mangaluru following an illness. Known for his profound contributions across social, religious, educational, and cooperative sectors, Kudooru was the son of esteemed social leader Kudooru Krishna Bhat and Kamalamma.

His leadership extended to significant roles such as chairman of Campco and the Rural Cooperative Bank. He was instrumental in the renovation efforts of Sri Panchalingeshwara Temple and played a pivotal role in organizing its Brahmakalash celebrations. Nationally recognized as vice-president of the Jaycees Club, he also served as president of Vithal Basavanagudi Jaycees Education Society and as convener of Vittal Vidya Sangha.

L N Kudooru’s passing has deeply saddened both dignitaries and the community, marking the end of an era characterized by his dedication and service.
