Kukanur : In the Mangalore village of the taluk, more than 350 families protested against the fact that title deeds have not been distributed even after 20 years.
Zilla Panchayat CEO Rahul Ratnam Pandey arrived at the protest site and accepted the petition. Speaking on the occasion, he acknowledged the longstanding issue of land rights in the village. “In a few days, we will make arrangements to distribute the title deeds to the beneficiaries. We have already raised this matter with the government,” he said. He added that the allotment letters will be issued following discussions with MLAs and District Collectors.
Taluk Panchayat Executive Officer Santosh Biradar, PDO Neelam Chalageri, Gram Panchayat President Muttanna Sakrappa Chinnuru, and Ravi Ningappa Agoli were present.
