The Vittal and Manjeshwar police are set to exhume the mortal remains of a man who passed away 18 days ago and was buried on the same day. This action follows a complaint lodged by the deceased’s brother, who harbors suspicions of foul play.

- Ashraf (44), a resident of Sunkadakatte Marjipalla, tragically passed away on May 6. He operated a small shop near his residence.
- On the evening of May 5, Ashraf retired to bed after dinner and was discovered lifeless the following morning. His wife attributed his demise to a sudden cardiac arrest.
- Subsequently, Ashraf was interred at Rahmania Juma Masjid of Kanyana Bandithadka.
