The National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal launched its highly anticipated annual technical festival, The Engineer 2024, today at its Surathkal campus. This year’s theme, “Enchanted Cosmos,” aims to inspire innovation, curiosity, and exploration of the vast universe.
This four-day extravaganza, scheduled from October 17.10.2024 to 20.10.2024, promises to attract over 25,000 visitors and features more than 30 events across various technical domains, including Hackathon, Auto Expo, Gaming Events, Technights Projects, Robocons Expo, Tronix Expo, Drone Racing, Virtual Sky Tour, Engi Talks, ACM VR Expo, Tech Mela, and Pro Show and many more.
Inaugural Ceremony
The inaugural ceremony was held at NITK Surathkal campus today (17.10.2024). Smt. Shilpa. R, Managing Director of The Hutti Gold Mines Co. Ltd., graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, and Shri. Prakash, Executive Director of The Hutti Gold Mines Co. Ltd., was the Guest of Honor. NITK Deputy Director, Prof. Subhash C Yaragal presided over the ceremony, accompanied by Prof. A.C Hegde, Dean Students Welfare, Dr. S. B. Arya, Professor in charge Engineer and Technical Clubs, and Team Incident.
