Belthangady: Police have arrested three individuals, including a minor boy, in connection with a forced sexual assault case involving a minor girl who is now six months pregnant.

The case came to light when the victim lodged a complaint at the Belthangady police station. Following the complaint, a case of gang rape and POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) was registered against the three accused.
The two adult accused were produced before the Belthangady court, while the minor boy was presented in the Mangalore Juvenile Court. The victim is currently admitted to a hospital where she is receiving treatment.
