A tragic accident in Mallige Majalu, Kokkada, claimed the life of Nawaf Ismail, a 9-year-old class 4 student at Ayesha School, Athoor. The incident occurred on Tuesday when Nawaf, the son of Abdul Hameed, was sitting in his home’s sit-out area, enjoying a cup of tea after returning from school.
A relative driving a car in the courtyard experienced a clutch jam, causing the vehicle to crash into Nawaf. The impact resulted in severe injuries, and despite being rushed to Puttur Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries en route. Fortunately, another child present in the car at the time was unharmed.
