Mangaluru: A delegation headed by R Dhanaraj, President of the Tulu Film Producers Association, met Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to present a memorandum outlining several key requests for the Tulu film industry.
The memorandum included demands for subsidies to support Tulu feature films, the introduction of awards to recognize excellence in regional language films, and the allocation of land for the Tulu Film Producers Association. Additionally, the memorandum addressed various other industry-related concerns that the association hopes will receive attention.
The delegation also included Vice President Praveen Kumar Konchady, Sachin A S, and Preetham Sagar, who supported the push for greater recognition and resources for the Tulu film industry.
The meeting highlighted the ongoing efforts to promote and develop the regional film industry, aiming for increased support and infrastructure to foster its growth and sustainability.
