Infant Jesus Shrine, Bikarnakatte, will host a special Lenten prayer programme titled ‘Via Crucis – Walking with Jesus to Calvary’, inviting the faithful to meditate on the Stations of the Cross during the season of Lent.
The programme is being organised by Bikarnakatte Jezu Prasada Parish as part of its Lenten spiritual activities.
Open-air Lenten meditation
The Via Crucis prayer will be conducted as an open-air Lenten meditation, allowing participants to reflect on the suffering and sacrifice of Jesus Christ while journeying through the Stations of the Cross.
The organisers said the initiative aims to help the faithful deepen their spiritual reflection and walk prayerfully with Christ during the Lenten season.
Weekly prayer every Sunday
The prayer gathering will be held every Sunday at 6:00 p.m. at the Infant Jesus Shrine in Bikarnakatte, Mangaluru.
Faithful are invited to participate in the prayer service and spend time in reflection and meditation on the passion of Christ.
