Mangaluru: Yenepoya Dental College, part of Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), recently held its 28th Graduation Day Ceremony at the Yendurance Zone on the university campus. The event marked a significant milestone for graduates as they embarked on their professional journey in dentistry.
Distinguished Guests and Dignitaries
The ceremony was graced by prominent figures in the field of dentistry. The Chief Guest for the event was (Prof.) Dr. A. Kumarswamy, a renowned Periodontist and Implantologist from Mumbai. Dr. Akhter Husain, former Dean and Professor Emeritus in the Department of Orthodontics at Yenepoya Dental College, served as the Guest of Honour.
Dr. Sham S Bhat, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, extended a warm welcome to the gathering, while Dr. Hasan Sarfaraz, Vice Principal, introduced the Chief Guest. Principal Dr. Laxmikanth Chatra presided over the ceremony, which was attended by the Heads of all Departments and a large audience.
