Bantwal: A 30-year-old youth was injured after he was allegedly stabbed by a group of local youths at Siddakatte Junction on the night of Sunday, October 18.
The injured person has been identified as Prakash Poojary, a resident of Melugudde, Manchakallu, near Siddakatte. He was shifted to a private hospital in Moodbidri, where he is undergoing treatment, according to information available.
The incident reportedly occurred over a minor personal issue. A group of local youths is suspected to have attacked Prakash, and the assailants are alleged to be known to him. However, the exact reason behind the incident remains unclear.
