Kasaragod: Manjeshwar has been selected as the best police station for the month of June in the district and Special Branch Police Pradesh Gopal has been selected as the best police officer.
Manjeshwar has been selected as the best police station in the Manjeshwar police station area in connection with the murder case of Prabhakar Noda in connection with the arrest of six people including his brother with wooden weapons, the most MDMA drug seized and law and order in the station.
District Special Branch Officer Pradish Gopal was selected as the best officer. Pradesh Gopal of the investigation team was responsible for tracking down the killers of Thomas Krastha of Sitangoli, a borewell contractor. Apart from this, he played a crucial role in the detection of many narcotics.
The selection was made by a committee comprising District Police Chief Dr. Vaibhav Saxena, Additional SP V. Shyam Kumar, and DySPs of the district.
