2-year jolly rides on stolen Apache come to halt!

Mysuru: The city police finally solved the “Missing Apache” case after two long years! A youth has been nabbed in this connection. The bike had gone amiss two years ago from the foothills of Chamundi.

The accused Srikanth, a resident of Mandya had stolen the Apache bearing KM 09 ET 4631 two years ago.when its owner Vasu had left it at the foothills of Chamundi and gone to pray in a nearby temple. When he returned the bike was missing and a complaint was lodged with the K R pet police.

On October 26, 2016, during routine check up in the city, police stopped Srikant near B M Habitat Mall in the city. The police insisted on the documents and Srikanth failed to furnish them.

When quizzed further, Srikanth confessed to the crime and revealed that he had changed the number plate to hoodwink the police.
