Chamarajanagara: Wild elephants attacked and damaged two cars in Asanur on border of  Chamarajanagara – Tamilnadu in Bengaluru- Dindigal Highway on the evening of Saturday June 25.

It is said that a herd of wild elephants were crossing road with newborn calf. The vehicular traffic was disrupted for more than half an hour on the National Highway.

The wild elephants have been waylaying cane transport lorries on this route and putting trunk into sugar canes. These elephants let lorries to go after drivers give them canes.
