Chamarajanagara: A farmer, who had taken a tractor loan, resorted to suicide by consuming poison at Nenekatte Village in the Taluk after he was harassed by a private finance company.
The deceased has been identified as Krishnaiah (62) of Nenekatte Village. He allegedly took a tractor loan from a private finance company and unable to bear the harassment, resorted to suicide by consuming poison on the evening of Monday October 17. Immediately he was taken to Chamarajanagara District Hospital. But the treatment failed and he died in the hospital.
Gundlupete Police has registered a case in this regard.
