Chamarajanagara: A man died by accidentally falling into the Ammanikere lake while washing clothes near its shore.
The deceased has been identified as Raju (35) of K. S. Nagaratnamma Barangay of the town. His leg was trapped under the mud when he was found dead. It is said that the deceased was working as a bar bender.
The Police of Gundlupet Station visited the spot and sent the dead body to the Public Hospital of the Town. After postmortem the body was handed over to his family.
A case has been registered in Gundlupet Police Station.
