Chamarajanagara: Sri Rama Sene National President Pramod Muthalik has said that the Government’s negligence on the one hand and the Muslim appeasement politics of the Congress on the other is the root cause of terrorism in the State.

Speaking to mediapersons in the City, he said that terrorist activity has grown due to Congress appeasement. He further challenged “If needed I will prove it with the documents. Mysuru has become a laboratory for anti-national activities, he said, adding that even though PFI has been banned, there are still thousands of people with PFI mental status, he alleged. “The bomb blast took place in Mangaluru due to the negligence of the State Government. He expressed displeasure that the police were not taking action against it.
The decision not to allow non-Hindus to do business at the Subramanya Temple in view of Champa Shashti is welcome. Maulvis and mullahs should understand that this restriction is for miscreants and terrorists who are living in this country, taking advantage of the privileges here and carrying out anti-national activities. Non-Hindus should be barred from entering all temples in the State, he asserted.

He demanded that a law should be enacted that non-Hindus will not be allowed to enter the area near the shrines within a distance of 100 metres. “People like Sharique are dropping bombs because of the failure of the Police Department. An NIA unit should be opened in Mysuru or the coast. “Why can’t we bring in a Yogi-style government? Why has the government not reopened more than 200 cases withdrawn by Siddaramaiah. He has neglected the safety of the State in the run-up to the elections. Sharique’s link now connects to Theerthahalli. This attitude of the BJP is not right,” he said.

He confirmed “I will stand for elections this time for Hindutva, to listen to the sufferings of Hindus, to raise the voice of a Hindu in the Assembly. Sri Ram Sene is not a political party. It’s an organisation. I will contest as an independent contestant. I have 24 strong Hindutva activists who are contesting the polls along with me and I will announce my constituency in the second or third week of December,” he added.
