Chamarajanagara: District In-Charge Minister V. Somanna’s Fan’s Association has donated a Robot to Robotic sand Science Lab at a cost of Rs. 12 Lakh to Beguru Government Pre-University College and High School in Gundlupete Taluk to mark birthday of the leader. Mysuru titular King Yaduveer Krishna Datta Chamaraja Wodeyar
inaugurated the laboratory on Tuesday July 26.
Instead of a teacher in a robotics lab, this robot named Bidyut, imported from Japan, will give any amount of information in any language. In the Robotics lab, the robot will do the work done by a teacher. Along with the robot, there is a 2,000 model-making kit, and the robot will also guide the students in whatever model they want to make.
How to make a street lamp? How to make wind power, solar panel, mobile operation, microscope? Students will learn all of this and uch more practically.
This robot brought from Japan will also solve the shortage of teachers. The school is working under concept of digital cluster school. If there is no Mathematics teacher in a school, robot will teach
Mathematics to the children of that school digitally. It has the ability to answer questions in any language of the world. Besides the
lesson, this robot will sing songs, dance and also tell stories. It will answer all general knowledge questions.
The work of fans is commended by people as they have set an example of developing school by not wasting money on grand celebration of a birthday. Beguru PU College is only Government College in the State equipped with Robotics lab.
