Chamarajanagara: Two bike riders killed while trying to avoid dog

Chamarajanagara: Two bike riders were killed on Saturday July 23 in Madapura on the outskirts of the Taluk.

The deceased has been identified as Shivamurthy (46) and Mahadevappa (52) of Katnawadi Village of the Taluk. The mishap occurred when the duo tried to avoid hitting the dog that came across their way. The two were going to Male Mahadeshwara Hill. The pillion rider Shivamurthy died on the spot while Mahadevappa, who was seriously injured, was admitted to a private hospital in Mysuru, where he breathed his last.

A case has been registered at Chamarajanagara Traffic Police Station.
