Mysuru: A daughter in-law who killed her father in-law with the help of her alleged lover and his accomplices, fearing that her father in-law would reveal to others about her alleged illicit relationship has finally landed in jail.
The complaint lodged by her with regard to death of her father in-law helped the police arrest her and others involved in the crime.
The deceased father in-law is Puttaswamy, aged 56, resident of G,Maravalli village in Nanjangud Taluk.
Parvathi of Kudanahalli village married Puttaswany’s son and lived with her in-laws in Maravalli after marriage. In the meantime Parvathi, mother of one child developed illicit relationship with Naga alias Nagaraj as her husband was employed in Mysuru. Her father-in-law came to know about her illicit relationship and fearing exposure by him she plotted his murder with her paramour’s help. On October 3, her paramour with few of his accomplices killed Puttaswamy and threw his body in nearby shrubs and vanished from the scene.
Complainant lands in police net
After killing her father in-law she staged a drama by lodging a complaint with the police. In her complaint with the Biligere police she had stated that her father in-law was killed by his enemies.
Police after registering the complaint while analysing her call records realised of her relationship with her parmour. During further investigation she revealed the truth which led to the arrest of her paramour Nagaraj and his accomplices Suresh,Puttawswamy,Mahadeva,Rangaswamy and Raju.
All accused were remanded to judicial custody.
