Mysuru: The prime aim of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is to defeat Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and overthrow the “corrupt” Congress regime in the state, said Union Minister D V Sadananda Gowda.
Accepting the responsibility given by the party to checkmate CM in his home turf, DVS said CM Siddaramaiah’s claim of development in the state was far from real as the ground reality was different.
Congress is fast losing its ground in the state and the party is busy fomenting communal tension to regain power, claimed Gowda citing the latest incident in Hunsur during Hanuma Jayanthi celebrations as a latest example.
CM unruffled
Reacting on the DVS’s criticism, ab unruffled Siddaramaiah invited the former to join the election fray, adding his statewide tour in progress now would continue with renewed vigour from December 13.
