Mysuru: “Fashion is not just exposing the body, fashion has its own value and dignity – which I follow in designs”, says well known designer Jayanthi Ballal. She was speaking at the Fresh Face 2014, a fashion show directed by Snehal Igoor and featuring professional models, which was held at JWGC in Mysuru.
Earlier Jayanthi Ballal had held a hunt for a fresh face in which, 70 candidates participated and 17 were selected, whom Jayanthi Ballal and team groomed and trained for one month. The selected candidates then walked the ramp for Fresh Face 2014 along with professionals, but the show stopper was actress Sharmiela Mandre.
Krupa Sumanth CEO & Founder of Impressionz exhibition and Pooja Joshi judged the competiton.
After walking the ramp Mandre expressed her happiness at being a part of the event and said that Jayanthi Ballal is working hard in Mysuru to take fashion higher and wished to have her collections which are excellent.
Jayanthi Ballal is doing a great job by creating a platform for new comers in fashion field, she added
Speaking to the media, Jayanthi Ballal said that since Mysuru is known for its culture and heritage she takes additional care, while designing and gives no room for obscenity because still people feel, that “exposing the body should be taken out of the mind”.
