Mysuru: In a significant development, BJP MLA Srivatsa from the Krishnaraja Assembly Constituency has lodged a complaint with the Lokayukta against two former commissioners of the Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA) in connection with an alleged land allotment scam. The complaint targets former MUDA commissioners B. Natesh and Dinesh Kumar, accusing them of serious irregularities in land allotment during their tenure.

According to the complaint, Srivatsa alleges that Natesh and Dinesh Kumar engaged in illegal activities that have resulted in substantial financial losses to the government exchequer. He has called for the immediate registration of criminal cases against the two officers, urging their arrest. The complaint further demands action against land acquisition officers, government secretaries, and the Urban Development Department, who are also implicated in the alleged scam.

Srivatsa, who is also a member of the Mysore Urban Development Authority, claims that plots of land were unlawfully allocated in a 50:50 ratio, amounting to approximately 5 lakh square feet. He has requested the cancellation of these orders, citing that they were issued illegally and that an investigation into the matter is long overdue.

In his complaint, Srivatsa has requested that the Lokayukta issue an immediate order for the arrest of the officers involved in the alleged scam and that the financial loss be recovered directly from them.
