Mysuru: Law enforcement authorities apprehended an individual for unlawfully cultivating marijuana on his farmland and keeping it in his residence with the intention of selling it. They have confiscated 3.61 kilograms of marijuana from his possession.
The individual taken into custody has been recognized as Kempegowda, residing in Chakkodanahalli village within the taluk. He was engaged in the unlawful cultivation of marijuana, and he stored the harvested crop at his residence for the purposes of drying and later selling it. Acting on a received tip-off, the raid was carried out by H.D. Kote Police Inspector Shabbir Hussain.
In the operation H.D. Kote Police Inspector Shabbir Hussain, Sub-Inspector Prakash, Municipal Chief Officer Suresh, and village police constables from H.D. Kote, namely Mahadevaswamy, Yogesh, Sunil, Mohan, and Bhoomika, as well as village panchayat authorities and officials present.
