Mysuru : A private school teacher killed her own 14-month-old child before killing self in Mudganur village of Hunsur taluk on Nov 9.
Mahalakshmi (30) is the deceased teacher.
Unhappy with the birth of female child, jobless husband kept harassing his wife which forced the teacher to take ultimate step of committing suicide. Prashanth kept forcing his wife to get money from her family as he was jobless.
Mahalakshmi had married Prashanth, a resident of the same village.
A case stands registered in Hunsur police station limits.
Further investigation is under progress.
