Kodagu: A team of police investigating the cooker blast case arrived at a homestay in South Kodagu to collect information.

According to sources, police reportedly obtained information about the accused in the bomb blast case staying at the homestay by questioning the owner of the facility in Ponnampet’s Nemmale village near T Shettigeri.

A cooker bomb exploded on an autorickshaw in Mangaluru on November 19. Mohammed Sharique, a 24-year-old rickshaw passenger, was held responsible for the explosion.

Sharique, who is from Tirthahalli in the Shivamogga district, was carrying an IED in a cooker in an autorickshaw when it exploded.
