Kodagu: Bommai visits rain-hit areas of Madikeri

Kodagu: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai visited the district’s rain – hit areas on Tuesday July 12.

He visited the house of Gopal, a person who lives in Mallikarjun Nagar.

According to sources, Gopal’s house was completely destroyed as a result of the district’s 12 days of nonstop, heavy rain. Following the inspection, Gopal and his family received a relief check for Rs. 95,100 from CM Bommai.

State Revenue Minister R. Ashoka, Member of Parliament Pratap Simha, and District In – Charge Minister B. C. Nagesh were present.
