Kodagu: The Kodagu District Congress Committee workers on Friday August 19 staged a protest in front of SPs office demanding stern action against accused. The Superintendent of Police M. Ayyappa promised agitators that police were doing duty impartially and did not bow to any political pressure.
Meanwhile MLA Ranjan accused the Congress.
Speaking to mediapersons on Friday, Madikeri MLA M P Appachu Ranjan said that BJP workers did not throw eggs at Siddaramaiahs car and said that a Congress party worker himself threw eggs to Siddaramaiahs car which has been proved in probe.
He alleged that Siddaramaiah is infamous for instigating communal feelings. He alleged Siddaramaiah introduced celebration of Tipu Jayanti when he was the Chief Minister which has evoked anger from every house in Kodagu.
